Border policemen discover remains of missile in northern district of Moldova

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/ - A Border Police patrol today discovered remains of a missile, coming from Russia’s air attacks against Ukraine, in the northern Briceni district.

According to the Interior Ministry (MAI), following the detection of the presumed missile, the area was immediately protected and the 112 Emergency Service, Bombteh teams of the General Police Inspectorate, as well as the prosecutor’s office of the Briceni district were called.

The Border Police, along with colleagues of the Briceni Police Inspectorate ensure the perimeter and prepare the assistance needed for the investigation and verification teams of Bombteh and the prosecutor’s office.

This is the fourth case when remains of a missile coming from bombardments against Ukraine fall in Moldova.
