Mold SEF competition's winners nominated

Chisinau, February 20 /MOLDPRES/- A number of 30 projects were nominated winners at the 11th edition of the Mold SEF (Moldova Science and Engineering Fair). At the same time, two projects were proposed for participation in the international stage of the competition.

The national competition is the first in the list of 21 Republican Olympiads and competitions due to be organized in the current academic year in our country. They will take place until May 22.

The competition is meant for students of general and professional technical education institutions. In this year's edition, 75 projects set up by 109 students from 19 districts and municipalities were entered. Out of the total number of projects, 20 were submitted to the Science and Mathematics category, 35 to Applied Sciences and 20 to Information Technology.

According to the Ministry of Education and Research (MEC), the winners of the national stage of the Competition are students from educational institutions in Chisinau, Balti, Cahul, Criuleni, Glodeni, Hâncești, Ialoveni, Nisporeni, Sângerei, Soroca, Șoldănești, Ungheni and Gagauzia.

The contest was held on February 17-19 in Chisinau and was organized by the Ministry of Education and Research and the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation.
