Kindergarten from central Moldova district renovated

Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Lăstărel kindergarten from the central Calarasi city has been renovated. The works cost over 1.4 million lei (70,000 euros) and were carried out within an energy efficiency project.

The project envisaged the thermal insulation of the exterior walls with an overall area of 1,392 square metres, as well as other works for renovating the education institution.

According to the Agency for Energy Efficiency (AEE), during the project’s implementation, the kindergarten’s leadership benefited also from technical assistance, including for working out the energy audit report, spending sheet and carrying out the building’s technical expertise.

The Lăstărel kindergarten from Calarasi is attended by about 250 children.

The works of thermal rehabilitation of the building of the Calarasi district hospital have been recently finished. The project cost over one million lei and the money was used for the thermal insulation of the walls and change of the exterior doors and windows.
