Silver Chrysanthemum festival of sentimental songs to be held in Moldova on 22-24 February

Chisinau, 21 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall, the Chisinau Municipal Council’s General Department of Culture and Cultural Heritage informs about the organization of the 26th edition of the Silver Chrysanthemum International Festival and Contest of Sentimental Songs’ Singing and Creation, due to be held at the Palace of the Republic on 22-24 February.

According to the organizers, the festival is held to turn to good account and revive the sentimental song as music genre, support singers and composers of these songs, popularize the compositions of this kind, signed by contemporary authors.

The organizers will award money prizes, mentions, special prices and participation diplomas.
