Two foreign citizens declared undesirable for subversive activity in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Intelligence and Security Service (SIS) of Moldova has informed that it identified the presence of two foreigners in Moldova, connected to certain subversive centres from outside the country. They were declared as undesirable for subversive activity for a ten-year period.  

According to SIS, the two foreign citizens were involved in activities of collecting data and information for enforcing a plan on the destabilization of the domestic situation in the country, with the triggering of the change by violence of Moldova’s constitutional order. Also, decision-makers established that the foreigners had been coordinated from the shadow by a group of people affiliated with a conspiring network of experts in political technologies and social engineering from abroad.     

„On the period of their stay in Moldova, the foreign citizens initiated a string of informative and subversive actions of researching various locations nearby governmental headquarters and critical infrastructure objects. They also actively participated in the monitoring and documentation of social and political processes from Moldova and of the protest actions organized by certain political forces in the capital,’’ the SIS press release said.

According to the quoted source, under the Article 55, paragraph (1) from the Law No. 200/2010 on the regime of foreigners in Moldova, the  Intelligence and Security Service, jointly with the General Inspectorate for Migration, enforced the ensuring measure of declaring the foreign citizens as undesirable for a period of 10 years, with sending them away from the territory of Moldova.
