Chisinau, March 1. /MOLDPRES/- Economic agents will benefit from more facilities in foreign trade. The measures entered into force today.
Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Economic Development and Digitization said that the initiatives were launched by the Customs Service and aim to reduce bureaucracy during the state border crossing.
"The number of documents that must be presented by the economic agent for customs clearance of goods has been reduced from 21 to three documents. Thus, only: the invoice, the transport documents and the permissive documents necessary for the granting of customs clearance will be requested. The new rules are in force starting 1 March," the official wrote on a social network.
At the same time, starting from 1 March the repeated mandatory registration of economic agents with the Customs Service was excluded.
Also, the economic agents in the Free Economic Zones and the Giurgiulesti Free International Port will have the opportunity to submit the customs declaration in detail in electronic format.
