Public security program for 2022-2025 published in Official Journal

Chisinau, March 7. /MOLDPRES/- The degree of safety of the population at home, in the community, in the activity environments, in road traffic and on public roads will be increased. This is provided for in the Public Order and Security Program for 2022-2025, which was published today in the Official Journal.

The document aims to bring law enforcement services closer to the people, including through better coverage of the territory, as well as the development of communication and interaction skills with citizens. Complementarily, the program lays the foundations of a police culture oriented towards the needs of the population. Thus, the response to emergency calls will be prompt and efficient.

At the same time, the Program will ensure the standardization of intervention procedures, training, coordination and the flow of information between the subdivisions specialized in the field of public order and security, as well as equipping front-line employees and support structures with modern equipment.

The decision entered into force on the date of publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova. According to the document, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will annually present to the Government, by March 15, the progress report on the implementation of the Program.
