Moldovan PM conveys message on occasion of International Women's Day

Chisinau, 8 March /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has conveyed a message on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, in which he highlighted the social, political and economic achievements of women for a united and prosperous society, where all people can fulfill their potentially fully, with dignity and respect, the government’s communication protocol department has reported. 

Also today, PM Dorin Recean joined the campaign of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs from Moldova: ‘’For a robust, modern economy, women’s participation in business means the full use of the human potential. Equal treatment, no matter the gender and equal opportunities for any type of occupations means a prosperous society,’’ the prime minister said.  

Prime Minister Dorin Recean launched a call to the business environment, public institutions and the entire society to become champions of the change, champions of the gender equality. He noted that this was an investment in Moldova’s future, an investment in the most valuable resource we have – our people.  

„I am happy that six ministerial portfolios in my team are led by professional women ministers and with exceptional personalities and technocrat women civil servants work in the state’s institutions.
