Chisinau, March 10. /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau authorities commented on the statement made by the so-called Tiraspol leadership on an alleged attack in the Transnistrian region.

In some press statements, Prime Minister Dorin Recean commented on the case and emphasized that the Chisinau Government has no confirmation of such information. "It is important that the Republic of Moldova is in a situation of peace and stability in the region and the Reintegration Office manages to align the left of the Dniester to peace and stability. There are no escalation hazards or problems in that area. The executive is taking care to face the challenges that still exist", said Dorin Recean.

At the same time, the head of the Moldovan Delegation to the Joint Control Commission, Alexandru Flenchea, qualified the situation as informational challenges. "It's becoming a tradition, with the arrival of spring, on a holiday, terrorists appear on the left side of the Dniester without causing any casualties. We could make fun of this history, but there are reasons for concern. Disinformation and tension, designed to put pressure on Chisinau and, to a lesser extent, on Kiev, have gone too far. Informational challenges risk degenerating into challenges on the ground," wrote Alexandru Flenchea on a social network.

The so-called authorities from Tiraspol announced yesterday about an alleged attack in the Transnistrian region, which would have targeted several responsible people on the left bank of the Dniester.
