Over 300 Moldovan National Army soldiers take oath

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/ - Over 300 soldiers today took oath of enlistment in the National Army’s garrisons.
According to the Defence Ministry, at a ceremony held at the general staff regiment, Nicolae Petrica Brigade General, in Chisinau, Minister Anatolie Nosatii congratulated those 155 young people on the progress achieved at the initial training course.
”The taking of the oath of enlistment is a solemn day in your lives. You had a good performance at the today’s ceremony and this fact is certainly due to those four weeks of initial training, during which you ripened, disciplined yourselves and became more responsible. We will say ‘’Welcome to the National Army!’’ to those who will make up your minds to join the family of professional military,’’ Anatolie Nosatii said.
Similar ceremonies took place also in the Balti and Cahul municipalities, where another over 150 soldiers took oath. Attending the events were the National Army’s commander, Eduard Ohladciuc and the deputy head of the National Army’s General Staff, Sergiu Cirimpei.
The seasoned military service lasts 12 months in Moldova.
