ANRE confirmed availability of diesel stocks

Chisinau, March 22 /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) confirms the current availability of diesel and petrol stocks to fully cover current consumption needs for both private people and economic agents, including in the context of the increase in seasonal demand generated by the start of agricultural works.

The clarification was made after information spread in the public space about the low level of fuel stocks held by oil companies, especially diesel.

ANRE claims that it carries out a process of daily reporting and monitoring of the level of stocks of petroleum products held by importers at their warehouses, as well as in the petroleum terminal at the Giurgiulești International Free Port, intended for import into the Republic of Moldova.

According to ANRE, fuel prices will continue to decrease tomorrow. Thus, COR 95 petrol will cost a maximum of 24.52 lei, down by 0.05 lei. At the same time, diesel will be sold at 21.42 lei per liter, down by 0.13 lei.
