Romanian PM to pay visit to Moldova on 23 March

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/ - Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca will pay an official visit to Chisinau on 23 March. The Romanian official will have meetings with Prime Minister Dorin Recean, President Maia Sandu and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. The government’s spokesman, Daniel Voda, has made statements to this effect.
„The visit by PM Ciuca reconfirms Romania’s strong support in the carrying out of the reforms and advancement of Moldova’s European integration, consolidation of the economy as a result of multiple projects underway with the Romanian side, as well as the strengthening of the resilience and security of our state,’’ Daniel Voda said.
The spokesperson for the cabinet noted that the visit to Chisinau by the Romanian prime minister was a response to a visit to Bucharest paid by PM Dorin Recean on 1 March this year.
In Chisinau, Dorin Recean and Nicolae Ciuca will have a face-to-face meeting and afterwards, discussions will be held in the enlarged format of the delegations. The two officials will hold a news conference.
