Moldovan top court validated deputy's mandate

Chisinau, March 23 /MOLDPRES/- The Constitutional Court today validated the mandate of a deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.
The Central Electoral Commission's proposal to validate the mandate assigned to Gheorghe Cojoc, alternate candidate on the list of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) was examined at the meeting of the Constitutional Court.
Gheorghe Cojoc is president of the PAS Territorial Organization from Basarabeasca.
The deputy mandate became vacant following the resignation of MP Mija Artur from the same party.
