Glodeni district to have new sewage treatment plant

Chisinau, March 27 /MOLDPRES/- By late 2023, the construction-assembly works of a new sewage treatment plant will be completed in Glodeni, the Regional Development Agency (ADR) North has reported.

"About nine thousand residents of Glodeni will benefit from quality sanitation services. Following the implementation of this project, the inhabitants of the villages of Hâjdieni, Danu and Dușmani, 561 economic agents and 25 public institutions will benefit from the same services. Also, 12 new jobs will be created", ADR Nord said.

The value of the joint venture contract is 18.6 million lei (930 thousand euros), more than 58% of the resources used up to now. "The construction-assembly works started in September 2022, and the duration of the execution of the works within the project is 12 months", states ADR Nord.

The Modern sanitation systems for the citizens of Glodeni district project was submitted by the Glodeni District Council within the Call for selection of regional development projects for 2021-2023.
