About 200 trees fallen by strong wind in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ - About 200 trees today were fallen by the strong wind in the Moldovan capital.

According to the Chisinau city hall, all economic services were involved in remedying the problematic situations during the day. Employees intervened at more than 100 addresses from the city’s districts, where about 200 trees were fallen.

The municipal authorities informed that seven teams would work in continuation, in order to remedy the problems recorded. Citizens are urged to report the problematic cases at the Central Municipal Controller’s Office - 022 22 22 67 or 022 22 26 04.

The State Hydrometeorological Service announced a sharp weather change for today. The cold weather, without precipitation, will maintain on 29 March. The north-western cold wind will continue blowing in weaker gustings in some regions.
