Russian military gets interdiction to enter Moldova

Chisinau, 31 March /MOLDPRES/ - A Russian serviceman has received interdiction to enter Moldova. The man was identified at the Chisinau International Airport.

According to the Border Police, the military intended to go to Tiraspol. The man participated in the war started by Russia in Ukraine. During the interviewing, the man tried to mislead the inspectors. Thus, the person was not authorized the crossing of the state border and was returned to the state from where he departed by air.

In the context of the emergency state, to exclude the risks to security, security protocols are enforced at all state border crossing points; this implies the supplementing of the state border crossing control for passengers, especially for foreign citizens.

In the last 24 hours, over 20 foreign citizens have received refusal to enter Moldova.
