Moldovan president has meeting with Romanian national defence minister

Chisinau, 2 May /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today had a meeting with Romanian National Defence Minister Angel Tîlvăr, on a visit to Chisinau. The discussions were focused on the bilateral cooperation in the defence sector, the presidential press service has reported.

The country’s institutions work to maintain the peace and democracy in Moldova and Romania is a strategic partner, with which we consistently cooperate, in order to consolidate the national defence and security capacities.

The head of state expressed gratitude for Romania’s unconditional support for the European for the European integration of Moldova, including through the substantial donation provided, in order to improve the logistic system of the National Army.
