Patrol police conduct training exercises in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, May 3. /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Internal Affairs together with the national security authorities will conduct a training exercise for patrol police officers to practice security strategies during the movement of foreign delegations.

According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), police crews will carry out the exercise on the main arteries in the Centre and Botanica sectors of the capital. It takes place in the context of the European Political Community Summit 2023, due on 1 June in the Republic of Moldova.

The simulation action will involve more than 300 police officers and aims to test the way of managing such a large-scale event, which will be the first in Moldova, to increase the security of official persons who will visit our country and to ensure the safety of road traffic in the capital.
