Moldovan president announced launch of 373 government program

Chisinau, May 3 /MOLDPRES/-President Maia Sandu announced the launch of the 373 government program to support Moldovan entrepreneurs. "This program aims to encourage small and medium-sized enterprises to develop, create jobs and contribute to the well-being of citizens," said Maia Sandu.

According to the president, the 373 program will subsidize the difference between the market interest rate - that is, the one requested by the banks - and the ceiling established by this program:

3% - interest rate on loans in euros or dollars;
7% - interest rate on credits in lei;
3 years - the maximum grace period for loans with a maturity of up to 7 years.

The head of state said that economic development and job creation is our common priority. "I see in every locality where I go Moldovans who open businesses at home, work honestly and contribute to economic growth in Moldova. These brave people need government support. By helping entrepreneurs to become competitive on the European market, to have earnings that allow them to increase wages, to open jobs in our villages and cities, we will succeed in building a European economy and raising the standard of living of all Moldovans", Maia Sandu said.
