2022-2023 academic year to end on 30 May, 1 June to be declared day off

Chisinau, May 3 /MOLDPRES/- The 2022-2023 academic year will end on May 30, and June 1 will be declared day off. Spokesperson of the Government Daniel Vodă made the statement today.
"The academic year will end on 30 May, when the ceremony dedicated to the Last bell will be organized in all schools in the country. Colleagues from the Ministry of Education and Research will come up with a detailed instruction for schools. We announce this in advance so that the school community, families, students involved in the academic process know about this fact. At the same time, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will come up with the initiative to declare June 1 as a day off, and June 2 - a day off for the public sector, so that we can harmoniously organize the processes related to the holding of the European Political Community Summit", Daniel Vodă said.
On June 1, the Republic of Moldova will host the second edition of the European Political Community Summit.
