Pre-Vetting Commission: one candidate for office of Superior Council of Prosecutors passes evaluation

Chisinau, 3 May /MOLDPRES/ - A candidate for the office of member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP), Dumitru Obada, has passed the evaluation and met the criteria of ethic and financial integrity. The Pre-Vetting Commission informed about this decision today.

According to the Commission, the decision today was transmitted to the candidate and the institution in charge of the contest’s organization – CSP.

Dumitru Obada was heard by the Pre-Vetting Commission on 21 April 2023, in the context of the process of evaluation of the financial and ethic integrity of the candidates for the office of member of the prosecutors’ self-management body. Dumitru Obada is Moldova’s governmental agent at the European Court of Human Rights, but maintains his status of prosecutor and has right to run for a position in CSP.
