Moldovan MP elected vice president of Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly

Chisinau, 5 May /MOLDPRES/ - MP Mariana Cușnir today was elected as vice president of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly (BSEC PA). The decision was taken at the 61st plenary session of the organization, held in Ankara, Turkey.

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, the participants in the ordinary session of BSEC PA had discussions on the role of the parliamentary diplomacy in the dynamic global change for development, peace and stability, as well as debates in those four standing commissions of the Parliamentary Assembly.

The Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly was set up in Istanbul in 1993. Presently, BSEC PA includes delegations of the legislative bodies from 13 member states of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization.
