President meets Moldovans residing in Great Britain

Chisinau, May 7. /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu had a warm discussion with our citizens settled in Great Britain on Saturday evening, the presidential press service has reported.

"I was impressed, as every time I meet our people who live outside the country, by their interest in the realities at home and by the emotions which they talk about Moldova," the head of state said.

The President answered several questions about investment opportunities and support programs for small and medium-sized businesses, about justice reform and efforts to fight corruption and, above all, about the European future of our country, a future that we are building together.

"I urged all those present to encourage their relatives from home to participate on May 21 in the European Moldova Assembly, the day when we will all say, together, what is our choice: a developed, free and European country, a welcoming and kind country for all people", said Maia Sandu.
