Head of state, more representatives of political parties discuss Moldova's accession to European Union

Chisinau, 8 May /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today discussed with representatives of more political parties the importance of Moldova’s accession to the European Union.

According to the presidential press service, one of the subjects of the meeting was the need for all pro-European political forces to join efforts for Moldova to become full-fledged EU member state.  

The head of state noted that the country’s place was in the European family, stressing that the turning of EU’s accession into a country project, backed by all citizens, depended on all pro-European parties.     

President Maia Sandu stressed that the European Moldova Assembly was a non-partisan event, of all citizens, no matter their political visions. The participants in this event will say in a single voice that our sovereign decision is to integrate the country into the European Union.
