Chisinau, 9 May /MOLDPRES/ - More MPs, as well as the former president of Moldova, Igor Dodon, today were seen wearing the St. George bicoloured ribbon at the chest during actions dedicated to the Victory Day. The ribbon is banned in Moldova.

More people wearing the bicoloured ribbon at the chest could be seen at the events organized by the opposition formations in Moldovan capital today. Law-enforcers have not commended on the situation for the time being and did not give information on whether sanctions had been imposed.
Last week, the head of the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), Viorel Cernauteanu, warned that the bicoloured ribbon and other symbols of the Russian military aggression in Ukraine were banned in Moldova.
