Moldovan government approved financing of 26 projects under program of activities for country's reintegration for 2023

Chisinau, May 10. /MOLDPRES/-  Government members approved today the program of activities for country's reintegration for 2023, which provides for the financing of 26 development projects in the perimeter of the Security Zone, with a total budget of 15 million lei, the Reintegration Policy Office has reported.

The list of projects to be financed was approved by the Selection Commission empowered by Government Instruction No19-d of 10 February 2023, in accordance with the eligibility criteria.

This year, according to the priorities declared at the stage of launching the project competition, 11 projects for the development and modernization of institutions in the educational system, seven projects for the repair and equipping of administrative buildings, cultural, sports and medical institutions, as well as a project on financial support to ensure the activity of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova to the Joint Control Commission have been selected and will be implemented.

The authorities of the central and local public administration, beneficiaries of the Program have to use the financial resources according to the destination, until the end of the IV quarter of 2023, and will present to the State Chancellery (Reintegration Policy Office) a report on benefits' use.

In 2011-2022, 12 government programs for the country's reintegration were implemented, with the implementation of 518 projects worth over 160 million lei, aimed at solving the urgent problems in the Security Zone, sustainable community development, achieving the desired reintegration of the country.
