Tax system in Moldova to be modernized with EU support

Chisinau, May 10. /MOLDPRES/- The Republic of Moldova will benefit from support from the European Union worth 267 million euros for the implementation of the FISCALIS Programme.

The members of the Parliamentary Economy, Budget and Finance Committee today approved the report on a draft law for the ratification of the agreement on participation in the FISCALIS programme. Previously, the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration approved the co-report to this draft law.

By ratifying this agreement, the Republic of Moldova will benefit from support in order to improve the functioning of the internal market, stimulate competitiveness and fair competition.

The programme is to be implemented by the State Fiscal Service in 2023-2027.
