Chisinau, 11 May /MOLDPRES/- Pro4CE Slovakian company has got funding under Slovak Challenge Fund and will support Moldovan regional producers, the ADR North has reported.

Pro4CE will implement a project focused on the online marketing of the agritourism business. Using its experience in supporting the development of tourism and rural areas in Slovakia, it will boost local organic food businesses in northern Moldova by opening up access to the online market for local producers. Through customized digital tools and platforms, such as an online cookbook or an interactive map, regional producers will enhance their gastronomic and rural adventure offers.

"The delicious organic food treasures of northern Moldova are ready to be discovered. This project aims to help facilitate their market penetration through digital tools. Bringing high-quality local organic products to customers will be used as a tool to develop the tourism sector in the region. This approach supports regional producers. It is an ecological perspective and supports the local economy and sustainable regional development," says Erik Heidema, Pro4CE.

Pro4CE will involve the Regional Development Agency (ADR) North, as a local partner, to help implement the project. ADR North is a key regional actor in coordinating and supporting regional and local communities for sustainable development in the north of the Republic of Moldova. The project will support, train and guide selected participants through the entire process: from content development to digital presentation of their offers. Once the digital tools are developed and tested, they will be made available to other users and regions.

The Pro4CE company will receive financial support from the Slovak Challenge Fund as a successful candidate in the third call for proposals. SCF is looking for solutions from Slovak companies to address specific development objectives. The project is financed by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and implemented by the UNDP Regional Center in Istanbul.
