Law enforcement officers to be able to work even after retirement

Chisinau, May 11 /MOLDPRES/- Law enforcement officers will be able to work in the system even after reaching the retirement age, up to 55 years. Parliament voted a draft in the second reading.

The document also sees the completion of the legislation with clear regulations regarding the status of the students of the "Ștefan cel Mare" Academy of the MAI. Thus, they will fall into the category of civil servants with special status, which will be confirmed by completing their studies.

The legislative amendments also refer to the regulation of the procedures that will ensure compliance with the legislative framework regarding the granting of the special degree before the deadline. Access to public positions with special status of fired/dismissed people from public positions for disciplinary reasons will be limited.
