Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ - The National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) today informed that the restrictions caused by the African Swine Fever Virus in the unincorporated area of the settlement Buzduganii de Jos, as well as in the wood of the Valea Mare village, western Ungheni district, had been lifted.
ANSA reminds that it will provide rewards for the reporting of cases of finding dead animals. ‘’The supervision of the state of health of the domestic animals/birds is quite important for knowing the health condition nationally and for the compilation of the analyses as regards the risk of switch of certain diseases from wild animals to domestic ones. The detection of such cases in time helps the authorities in charge of the animals’ health and food safety establish the measures of prophylaxis and control of diseases,’’ ANSA said.
The Agency asks the owners of pigs to urgently inform veterinary physicians, if animals fall sick or perish or in case corpses of wild boars are detected and at the same time, recommends the observance of the minimal requirements of biosecurity established under government decision.
