Moldovan, Dutch officials approach cooperation

Chisinau, May 17 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu today had a meeting with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte on the sidelines of the Council of Europe Summit in Reykjavik, Iceland, the presidential press service has reported.
"I had a very good dialogue with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte this morning in Reykjavik, where the fourth summit of the Council of Europe is taking place. I appreciated the ever closer ties with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, especially with the opening of the embassy in Chisinau last month," said the head of state.
Maia Sandu also said "the support we receive to build a strong state that works for its citizens, but also to speed up the EU accession process is very valuable". Maia Sandu thanked Prime Minister Rutte for the openness of his country towards us and emphasized that the Republic of Moldova is counting on intensifying economic cooperation and attracting new investments from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
