Republican football tournaments for children nominates winners in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 May /MOLDPRES/ - A traditional football show meant for children, has taken place on the eve of the Children’s Day. The event was organized by the Education and Research Ministry (MEC), in cooperation with the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF) and the specialty bodies in the education and sport sector. The republican tournaments were held at the Chisinau-based Zimbru stadium.

MEC and FMF representatives attended the ceremony of awarding prizes to teams. The officials thanked the pupils and stressed the importance of football’s practicing in education institutions, highlighting the high level of preparation, of both of girls and boys, who participated in the tournaments.

In the end of the competition, all participants received medals, diplomas, presents on behalf of MEC, FMF and partners.
