Ceremony on meeting official delegations ends at Mimi Castle from Moldova

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - The ceremony on the meeting of 48 official delegations has ended at the Mimi Castle. President Maia Sandu met European leaders.

They were met in the Castle’s yard, where a special area was arranged, with a red carpet.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu stressed that ‘’about 400 members of foreign delegations are present at the Summit of the European Political Community.’’

Following the finishing of the ceremony of meeting the official delegations, the plenary meeting of the EPC Summit will start, in which the participants will discuss such subjects as: peace, security, energy and connectivity. Subsequently, President Maia Sandu and more official leaders will make press statements.
