PHOTO: Centre of Chisinau empty on day of EPC Summit

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - The centre of Chisinau city is practically empty today, while the Summit of the European Political Community is held in Bulboaca today. The public sector employees have day off, while policemen, physicians, firemen are on duty and are prepared for intervening if necessary. More pictures in this respect today were taken by the MOLDPRES photo-reporter in the centre of the capital today.

Most people met on streets welcome the organization of the EPC Summit in Moldova, noting that they were not bothered by the restrictions, as they last only one day, while the benefits of the meeting for the country are multiple.

Moldova today hosts the most important political event in its history – the EPC Summit, which brings together about 50 heads of state, prime ministers and high-ranking European officials.
