Interior ministry says all activities carried out as normal all over Moldova

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - The activities today are carried out as normal all over Moldova. The Interior Ministry (MAI) has given assurances to this effect. Sports events, festivals and events held in open air take place in more settlements, on the occasion of the Children’s Day.

„The movement is ensured in normal regime on the national roads. Only insignificant incidents were recorded, without the need for the police to intervene, as the cases are within the competence of the insurers,’’ MAI noted.

Given that many citizens of Moldova have chosen to enjoy those four days off and planned vacation on 1-4 June, a slight increase of the traffic values was recorded at the border with Romania today morning. These values are diminishing at present. Exception represents the Leuseni-Albita border crossing point, where an increase of the traffic values is registered in the direction of exit from Moldova.

As for the crime situation in Moldova, the situation stays normal.

Presently, the EPC Summit is in full swing, all delegations being present in Bulboaca. The national authorities ensured the movement of the officials from Chisinau to Bulboaca in security conditions.
