State Social Inspectorate to be responsible for accreditation of social service providers at national level

Chisinau, June 2. /MOLDPRES/-The National Council for the Accreditation of Social Service Providers will be dissolved, and the responsibilities regarding the accreditation of social service providers will be taken over by the State Social Inspectorate. The Government's decision stipulating this was published today in the Official Journal and entered into force.
The document provides for a new organizational chart of the State Social Inspectorate apparatus, which was filled with four functions, in the context of the creation of the Accreditation Section. Additionally, the Regulation on the organization and operation of the Inspectorate was updated, which includes a new chapter, which regulates the selection and establishment of expert groups, responsible for the evaluation and accreditation of social service providers.
Through the changes, the accreditation procedure of social service providers will be improved, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will be able to monitor the accreditation process and assess its efficiency.
The State Social Inspectorate is subordinate to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and exercises state control in the field of social assistance.
