President thanked Czech Prime Minister for participating in EPC summit and consistently supporting Moldova

Chisinau, June 2. /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu concluded her discussions on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit with a meeting with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala, the presidential press service has reported.

"I thanked Prime Minister Fiala for the excellent relations we have with his country and for consistently supporting our European path," said the head of state.

At the same time, the president said that Moldova is a priority country for development assistance from the Czech Republic, and in the last 12 years, with the support of Czech partners, around 50 projects have been carried out worth about 14 million euros. "I thanked the Czech Prime Minister for the help and exchange of experience offered by the Czech experts in organizing the summit in Bulboaca. I am glad that our country has good and supportive friends like the Czech Republic", Maia Sandu said.
