New platform of information parliament's work launched in Moldova capital

Chisinau, 5 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Promo-LEX association today launched the platform www.101.promolex.md – an alternative source of information about the Moldovan parliament’s work.   

The platform’s goal is to enhance the transparency and visibility of the supreme legislative body, to make the institution, as well as the law lawmakers more responsible, as well as to facilitate the interaction between them and the society.   

The platform was created by Promo-LEX within the activity of parliament’s monitoring and comprises all information available about the work of the parliament of the current legislative period and of each MP individually, and all this information is synthetized, grouped and presented.    

The platform www.101.promolex.md provides more options of contacting the parliament, parliamentary commissions or lawmakers, including the possibility to put to them questions of public interest directly, with the answer being within the responsibility of the addressee.   

By accessing the Deputați (MPs) division, one may find updated data about each lawmaker, including the CV, contact data, links to social media. Also, in case of each lawmaker, the platforms presents the initiatives he/she proposed, the way he/she votes, the presence at the plenary meetings and all declarations of wealth and personal interests submitted since the moment of the mandate’s validation.   

The Legislative Activity section comprises detailed information on the initiatives registered in parliament, including their authors, the fields which they regard and their status, i.e. at what stage of consideration they are. On the new platform, people will be able to watch the plenary meetings live. At the Publications column, people will be able to consult the reports on the parliament’s monitoring, carried out by Promo-LEX, as well as other surveys, including documents of policies on the parliament’s work.
