Moldovan official pays working visits to capitals of Belgium and Sweden

Chisinau, June 6. /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration pays two working visits to Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium and Stockholm, Kingdom of Sweden on 6 -8 June to deepen the bilateral dialogue, discuss the European agenda and boost the accession process of our country to the EU.

According to the MAEIE press service, on June 6, in Brussels Popescu will meet with Mircea Geoană, NATO Deputy Secretary General, Gert Jan Koopman, Director- General for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, as well as with other European officials.

On June 7, in Stockholm, Popescu will have meetings with Tobias Billström, Sweden's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jessika Roswall, Minister for EU Affairs and with other Swedish officials.

Also, the agenda will include Popescu's participation in the conference "Supporting Ukraine against Russian aggression and the future of European defense".
