Congress of specialists in urology to be held in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 6 June /MOLDPRES/ - The eighth Congress of urology, renal dialysis and transplant, titled New horizons in urology, will take place in Chisinau on 7-9 June 2023.

The eighth Congress of urology, renal dialysis and transplant is held once in four years and represents the most important scientific and practical forum, which will bring together a community of over 300 physicians specialists of Moldova and from abroad.

The event will take place at the Socio-Cultural University Complex and is organized by the Urologists’ Society of Moldova under the aegis of Moldova’s Health Ministry and in partnership with the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF).

The inauguration of the scientific forum will take place on 8 June starting from 9:00. Attending the opening will be: USMF, President of the Congress Rector Emil Ceban, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Health Minister Ala Nemerenco, the first vice-chair of the European Parliament’s Health Committee, European MP Tudor Ciuhodaru, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Moldova Graham Paul, the international secretary of the Balkan Medical Union, Camelia Diaconu and the chair of the Political Bureau of the European Association of Urology from Leuven, Belgium, Hendrik Van Poppel.

Exhibitions of scientific publications, medical technology and pharmaceutical products will be organized at the Congress.
