President meets Moldovan diaspora settled in USA

Chisinau, 22 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- On the occasion of participating in the UN General Assembly, President Maia Sandu met with our citizens in New York, the presidential press service has reported.
"We discussed everything about the transformation of our country: the changes we are making for a modern health system, energy security, renewable energy sources and sustainable development. We also discussed the security situation and the role of the UN in uncertain times," said the head of state.
"I was happy to see many people who want to contribute to the development of the country even if they are overseas. I invited them to work together so that Moldova is permanently anchored in the world of developed states, with stable democracies and efficient institutions that generate well-being for citizens", concluded the president.
