Moldovan citizens in Russia urged to avoid traveling to Estonia to avoid risk of being blocked

Chisinau, Dec. 1 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan citizens who are in the Russian Federation and intend to travel to the Republic of Estonia or transit the territory of this state are urged to avoid traveling through the land border crossing points between the two countries in order to avoid the risk of being blocked.
The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the Russian Federation informed the citizens that according to the announcement published on the official page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tallinn, the Estonian authorities, without prior notice, could temporarily close all the crossing points of the land border with the Russian Federation, due to a potential migratory pressure.
"In this context, Moldovan citizens who are in the Russian Federation and intend to travel to Estonia or transit the territory of this state are urged to avoid traveling through the land border crossing points between the two countries in order to avoid the risk of being blocked, as well as to review their land travel option and route to the EU and the Republic of Moldova", the Embassy of our country in the Russian Federation said.
