Moldovan PM, European official approach reforms, cooperation

Chisinau, February 16 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova's cooperation with the European Union in the security and internal affairs, the integration agenda of our country, as well as the current regional situation, in the context of the war in Ukraine were the issues discussed at a meeting between Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Ylva Johansson, European Commissioner for Home Affairs, the government's communication department has reported.
Recean expressed gratitude for the support offered to our country in joining the European Union. He said that it is a strategic goal and the authorities' efforts are focused on carrying out reforms, focusing on justice, attracting investments and economic recovery of the country.
For her part, Ylva Johansson said that ensuring state security and the fight against corruption are the key factors that will contribute to the development of the Republic of Moldova and the success of our European path. The commissioner appreciated the activity of the EU Security HUB in our country.
The officials also spoke about the importance of continuing to support Ukraine, but also about the disinformation and hybrid war waged by the Russian Federation in our country.
