Moldovan composer celebrates 85th birth anniversary
Chisinau, March 1 / MOLDPRES /- Composer Eugen Doga, People's Artist, winner of the National Prize, holder of the Order of the Republic, full member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova turned 85 today.
The composer was awarded the State Prize, the honorary title of People's Artist, the Order of the Republic, the order Star of Romania in the rank of commander, the order Faithful Service (Romania), the order Alexander Nevsky (Russia).The composer is the author of the famous waltz My tender beast, designated by UNESCO as the fourth musical masterpiece of the last century.
The concerts of the Martisor International Music Festival will be broadcast live on a LED screen, installed in the Square of the Nicolae Sulac National Palace.
