
Moldovan fine artist inaugurates personal exhibition
Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - An anniversary painting and drawing exhibition titled, L’atelier, by fine artist Vasile Sitari, was inaugurated at the Constantin Brancusi exhibition centre of the Moldovan Fine Artists’ Union today.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Vasile Sitari said the exhibition comprised 170 works, of which 105 of painting and 65 drawing ones, made in the last years.
Vasile Sitari was born in the Tabani village, northern Briceni district, on 1 February 1971. He graduated from the I. Repin Republican Fine Arts School and the State Institute of Arts. Sitari staged exhibitions in Austria, Belgium, Korea, Switzerland, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia and other countries. He is laureate of more national and international exhibition and contests. His works are preserved in public and private collections of Moldova and from abroad.
The exhibition will be opened till 21 November.
