Audit commission started verification of historical debts of Moldovagaz company

Chisinau, Oct. 19 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spînu, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development today provided details on the audit procedure of Moldovagaz's historical debts to Gazprom and Factoring-Finance.
According to the official, according to the specifications, the two companies will verify: the distribution by Moldovagaz (its predecessors) of gas consumption payments between consumers on the right and left banks of the Dniester; the assessment of the assets previously transferred to Gazprom as the (partial) settlement of debts for the gas delivered to consumers on the right bank and if necessary, the revaluation of the assets.
Also, the auditors will check whether the previous payments were correctly allocated for the settlement of the debts for the gas delivered to the consumers on the right bank, as well as the legality of the assignment of Gazprom receivables to Factoring-Finance company.
This week the audit team from Norway and Great Britain is on a working visit to Chisinau. The representatives of the companies Wikborg Rein Advokatfirma AS and Forensic Risk Alliance & Co, appointed by the Public Property Agency will provide a first report by late 2022.
