
Good Roads for Moldova 2020 programme over 75 per cent completed
Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/ - The works of repair and maintenance within the Good Roads for Moldova 2020 programme have been completely carried out in another five districts of the country, according to the State Administration of Roads (ASD).
The institution said that the works had been completed in the districts of Basarabeasca, Dubasari, Rezina, Stefan Voda and Straseni and represented a progress of implementation at the level of 95 per cent in the districts of Anenii Noi, Causeni, Ialoveni, Calarasi, Cimislia, Criuleni, Nisporeni, Telenesti.
„Presently, the works continue in all districts, where they were not fully completed, so that about 907 km of road are to be repaired till late 2020. More than 75 per cent of the overall volume of investments worth 1.125 billion lei, allocated for the carrying out of the Good Roads for Moldova 2020 programme, have been implemented, amounting to 853 million lei,’’ ASD said.
Over 673 km have been finished, of which 274 km were repaired with asphalt concrete cloth and about 399 km were finished with road cloth made of grovel.
