Moldovan tax body to facilitate tax compliance procedures

Chisinau, 13 September /MOLDPRES/- The State Tax Service (SFS) will facilitate the procedures for complying with tax legislation. An online event in this regard, entitled Club of Honest Entrepreneurs took place late last week.
This activity, which is part of the national financial education campaign "The public budget is your budget" was attended by SFS deputy head Nicoleta Nemerenco.
The event focused on general aspects on Taxpayer Compliance Program and types of risks and how to set them.
"The basic priority of the national tax administration is that the voluntary compliance actions undertaken contribute to increasing the level of compliance by the taxpayer with the law and to ensure that the forced intervention, control actions are reduced to a minimum. It is much more efficient to voluntarily obtain benefits from the National Public Budget, than to intervene through a control or other enforcement measure to recover those losses that have been brought to the budget ", the SFS deputy head said.
She added that the SFS is taking action to make all tax compliance procedures as easy as possible. "For this, the services provided to taxpayers are constantly developed and updated. Currently, the SFS has 34 services that are provided to taxpayers, of which 21 are in electronic format. All these services are meant to make the execution of the fiscal obligation in a simple way ", Nemerenco said.
