VIDEO // Over 600 km of regional, local roads to be repaired in Moldova in 2025
Over 600 kilometers of regional and local roads will be repaired this year. One of the modernized routes is the G20 road, which connects the localities of Fintinita, Tarigrad and Drochia. Prime Minister Dorin Recean, on a visit to his native district Drochia today, said that the work on this route would be completed ahead of the scheduled time.
The prime minister noted that, in 2025, a record amount of 3.2 billion lei had been allocated for the modernization of roads in Moldova. As much as 600 km of regional and local roads will be repaired with this money, with the G20 road connecting Fintinita, Tarigrad and Drochia serving as an example.
Dorin Recean emphasized that the work on this route would be completed ahead of schedule and thanked the teams involved in the process.
“The today's working visit is in the native district of Drochia. Here, I am on the G20 road that connects Fintinita, Tarigrad and Drochia. This is a very important road segment for these communities and has been undergoing major repairs, and we are finishing these works ahead of schedule. I am pleased with this achievement and I want to thank the teams, both the builders and the local public administration. This is a small part of the over 600 km of regional and local roads that are being repaired this year, with a budget of 3.2 billion lei. In this way, we are building our country, building Europe at home,” Dorin Recean said.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean pays a working visit to the northern Drochia district today. The agenda includes meetings with representatives of local public authorities and deconcentrated services of the district. At the same time, the prime minister will visit two peasant households in the villages of Hasnasenii Noi and Zgurita. At the same time, in the locality of Sofia, the PM will visit the local gymnasium, renovated through the European village governmental programme.
