Lower Dniester National Park to be founded in Moldova
Chisinau, 9 March /MOLDPRES/ - The government, at a today’s meeting, approved the law on the foundation of the Lower Dniester National Park. The protected area stretches on an area of 62,000 hectares, within the territorial borders of 13 settlements placed in the Stefan Voda and Causeni districts and three settlements placed on the left bank of Dniester, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The National Park has the goal to protect the biological diversity, to ensure the maintenance, preservation and rational use of the natural resources.
